Art journal

Today in Art class we began using pastels to draw and shade our fruit.As you know i choose the five finger fruit also known as the star apple which is a greenish and yellowish in colour.I began to colour my fruit with blue by shading the entire fruit then a passed a little bit of yellow over it and there had it i had green i was able to figure it out by me using my colour chart at the top of my drawing page.

Today in art class we began our drawing or sketch of our fruit.Ms Baboolal asked us to do a colour chart using our 2b pencil, 4b pencil, and 6b pencil.It was very interesting learning the art of drawing a fruit.My fruit was a star apple and we used the different types of pencils are used to shade the different areas in the fruit showing signs of shades along the fruit.We were asked to finish the drawing of the fruit and present it to Ms. Baboolal before the day was up so that when we have the next class we can begin using the pastels and shade the different areas in the fruit.It was a interesting class.

Today in art class we got the scheme of work for term 3 in hillview college on how to do a collage. THE  next day we were asked to bring our art pencils which are 2b,4b and 6b with drawwing paper. this class was very exciting yay .
